Baba Kasumu is an amazing teacher. When I joined African dance I came with a love of dance that had long been established, but somehow Kasumu made me love it even more. The love he has for his craft translates to each and every one. Kasumu is patient, understanding and the energy and time he spends with his students is commendable. Ade Jembe Fola forever has a place in my heart for creating my African dance and drumming family, and because of Kasumu.
